It's hard to believe we're already at 1800! Thanks for all the support and encouragement over the years! Here's to many more. Well, at least a few more. Maybe a couple?
I still have no idea when this will wrap up (though I do know how). I'm enjoying it too much to think about it.
That said, I will be taking a break in a couple of weeks. Not a long one, probably 10 days or so.
Also: thanks for all the votes that have come in on this shirt and this shirt. I know t-shirts and comics are different worlds, and I really am grateful for those of you who support both endeavors.
Also the video games. Who can forget those? Cars 2 is doing really well, and if you've played it, you can see why. It's very fun, and if you follow any of the video game rating sites, the critics seem to agree as well.

We are getting perilously close to #1800. Can you guess what it will be about?
Hint: something that's been missing around here for the last few months. I've probably just given it away.

... here's an idea. If you have one of my recent shirts from woot and aren't camera shy, post a picture of it in the group here. If you are camera shy, maybe a picture of your dog or neighbor wearing one of my shirts. That could be fun.
If you do it, I'll send you something. Something I've drawn, involving the cats you've probably come here to see. I don't think too many people come here to read about shirts, but that's what's going on tonight.
I think I'll limit this to the first dozen or so, which, judging by the activity over in the flickr group, will take several months.

I drew this* five years ago, and no longer remember the anecdote on its flickr page.
In just a few weeks, John Hodgman's culminating volume in his compendium of complete world knowledge, entitled THAT IS ALL, will be released. You can pre-order it here, and I highly recommend it, even though I haven't read it. However, I have seen some of the pictures inside, if you catch my meaning.

*For the uninitiated, this is one of John Hodgman's 700 hoboes listed in his first book The Areas of My Expertise. The effort to draw each and every one of those hoboes actually began nearly six years ago. I'll try to remember to commemorate that when the time comes.
