Are you familiar with this book?

Are you familiar with this box?
Specifically in regards to its pop cultural significance? If so, please consider voting for this shirt design over on woot. I wasn't going to submit it at all, but someone talked me into it. Don't let that someone down.
(Thanks, GreyHobbit, for posting this to flickr under a cc license.)

BOO!
I've posted another shirt to the woot derby. You can vote for it here, or just click on the image above to see it bigger (in case the words are too small).
I would've done a few dozen more, had I but the time.

I'm taking a break starting the 13th
I won't be posting anything new here or on flickr from October 13th till about the 23rd, but, as I just mentioned, there's about six years worth of images to browse if you miss me.

Indian Bat
This month will mark my sixth year on flickr, and I still wonder what I'd do without it.
Here's one of the first pictures I posted there, and I'll hopefully be revisiting this spot soon.

This is up for voting on shirt.woot
Here's the link, if you'd be so kind as to vote for it.
The zombie one's there too, here.
From the looks of things, this derby's already been won by some spectacularly spooky designs already in the fog over there, but maybe I'm being too pessimistic. There's still a week to vote.
As a reminder (this is the number one FAQ about these): you have to be logged in and you have to have made a woot purchase in the past in order to vote. If you meet both of those conditions, there will be a small "I'd want one" tab above the top left corner of the design. Click it to vote. There's no obligation to buy anything, it's simply a click to broadcast your desire. Like the "I'm feeling lucky" button in a way.
Stay tuned for a bit of nostalgia, another link or two, and tonight's comic.
Thanks!

The following two Halloween shirts will be up for voting on shirt.woot tomorrow
If you like or want either or both of them, you'll need to vote for them, and you'll need to tell your friends about them, and ask them to vote. That's the way democracy works.
Also, you have to have made at least one purchase in the past from any woot site. That part's not really how democracy works, but it's a pretty good system nonetheless.
I'll post the direct links tomorrow evening sometime. Voting opens at noon central on shirt.woot.com/derby .
Thank you, as always.
