I was tempted to make this tonight's official entry.

Tonight I had dinner with Sandrino, who has been commenting and supporting my efforts here and on flickr for as long as I can remember. We ate at the historic, and largely empty*, Ruth's Diner in Emigration Canyon**. This is how I payed for my dinner. It's the first installment drawn with a Sharpie and the first drawn on a napkin. I had the maple bbq salmon salad, which is much more delicious than the stewed version appears to be.

*Which is good, because we were free to guffaw loudly.
**The Fall colors are not yet totally unfurled.
