I was all ready to draw last night's comic when a surprise visit to the ER became necessary. My son had what we're pretty sure was a seizure. He's perfectly fine now (he's currently pounding out "Little Indian Dance" on the piano), and his cat scan and blood work were normal, so we're trying not to be too worried about it. He'll have a proper doctor's visit on Monday. Thanks to everyone who has wished us well on twitter and elsewhere, I really appreciate it.
My wife is scheduled to be induced on Tuesday, so I'll likely be posting repeat comics for most of next week, unless I find some free time along the way.
Meanwhile, here's a wookiee. There are a few more in my flickr. I've been drawing them the past few weeks to celebrate Wookiee Wednesday, which I hope to be a legitimate legal holiday someday.

Wow, harrowing. Glad it turned out all right. Best of luck to you and your family in the coming days! We'll be here for you when you get back from the hospital with the +1.
If you find any free time along the way this coming week...absolutely do not spend it on doing new strips! Use whatever free time comes along to chill out and decompress following what has to be a very stressful and worrisome time. Don't worry about posting here. Your fans are a highly intelligent and discriminating bunch of people (by definition) and as such we can afford to be patient. And whew, glad everything seems to be going well now!
So sorry, Adam! Keep an eye out for signs of ear infection - my son had fever seizures with each one before his temperature even went up. Hope it's nothing!
Kids do that sometimes. It's just one of those bonus things.
