New Tweet-Based Shirts on Neatorama

I know I said I'd be posting new stuff to Zazzle all week, but I'm going to skip that tonight, and instead direct you towards these new shirts available on Neatorama. Check them out here.
They were lots of fun to make, and Alex was ultra patient and great to work with throughout the whole process. If you don't visit Neatorama regularly, you are missing out on one of my very favorite blogs, and missing regular chances to win free art by me.

Necktie design

Necktie design, originally uploaded by Ape Lad.

Here's a hobo cat on a necktie!
The one available on zazzle has a staggered design, not gridular like this one. You can see it here.
I posted this version because it has a weird optical illusion thing going on. Feel free to use this as a desktop wallpaper if you feel like getting dizzy.

HO HO HO [UPDATED]

The Laugh-Out-Loud Cats, originally uploaded by Ape Lad.

Here's the first design I've added to my shop over on Zazzle. You can add it to other items by clicking on the shirt shown, then on "see all..." in the "Choose your style and color".

Also, click on this image and it will take you to flickr. Click on "all sizes" there, and you can find a size appropriate for your desktop or mobile wallpaper needs.

UPDATE! Zazzle has free shipping right now, if you use code HOLIDAYSHIPS . I don't know how long this will last.

Laugh-Out-Loud Cats #1299 and a note

Laugh-Out-Loud Cats #1299, originally uploaded by Ape Lad.

#1300 is on the way! Next Monday! It needs time to stew.
In the meantime, there won't be any new comics here till then, BUT I will be posting images of the cats here that will be for sale on my Zazzle shop. Something different everyday featuring Kitteh and Pip: mugs, mousepads perhaps, maybe another tie design, a t-shirt or two, and more. If you don't want to buy anything, that's okay, I'll make sure everything is posted big enough on flickr to be used as desktop wallpapers or something.
If there's anything in particular you'd like to see emblazoned across your loved one's midsection for the holidays, let me know in the comments below. I have a few things in mind, and a few comics I'll do up in color for the shop.
I'm partly doing this to refresh the stock over on the shop (some things will be disappearing from over there, mostly the stuff no one was interested in, so you likely won't notice), and partly because I have holiday shopping to do, too. Also, I'm still not sure what exactly #1300 will be. I have an inkling, but it needs time.
Thanks for your patience, and thanks for your support.

Thanks to everyone who bought an original comic from the book this weekend. There are a handful left. The link is in a previous post.
Also: if you're giving a copy of my book as a gift for the holidays and would like a free signed bookplate, follow the instructions over there on the right side of the blog.
Thanks!

Surprise comics sale

I'm selling comics on etsy. Here's the link.
This sale is a bit different, as you'll see when you click on the link. I'm selling original comics from my book, chosen at random. I wasn't planning on selling them for this price, or this soon, but I figured some people would like them for their holiday gift giving.
This will probably be the last time I sell comics before the holidays are upon us.
If you miss your chance this time, remember: The Laugh-Out-Loud Cats Sell Out is a perfect holiday gift. It fits in most plus size stockings and is very easy to wrap. Ask your local Santa now.

Steamboat Willie is supposed to be showing up here on this blog any moment, if the "blog this" button on youtube is to be believed. It has failed me in the past. In any case, happy birthday, boss.

The ultra-talented Stephanie Kellogg sent me this tile based on #1189 (one of my favorites), so I'm posting it as tonight's comic. Here's more of her work.

Here's a better photo, from Stephanie's blog.

Coming Saturday: etsy sale

avatar semaphores, originally uploaded by jared.

As promised, I'll be posting comics for sale Saturday Oct 17th, on etsy. Comics you've already seen here over the past several months. A few of them may surprise you.
My goal is to get them all posted for sale by noon mountain time, so keep your eyes peeled.
Tonight's comic is still on the way. It's been a busy week. Thanks for bearing with me.

The image above was in the creative commons pool on flickr, and I found it when I searched for "etsy". The one on the right side near the middle looks like a hat.
